Abstract

Through the roles of mosque youth, A mosque can become a forum for developing a noble character and moral education for the surrounding community, especially teenagers, whose social interactions are currently very vulnerable. Many teenagers' social interactions are concerning and require guidance and direction. This was a qualitative study conducted by using observation, interviews, and documentation as the data collection techniques. After the data were collected, they were analyzed by simplifying and interpreting the data. This analysis was conducted on all data obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the activities carried out by the mosque youth as a strategy to develop the teenagers‟ noble character by increasing religious activities to foster teenagers‟ noble character. In addition, it was found that these activities had a positive influence on the formation of teenagers‟ noble character because of the support of parents and the hard work of all members of the management. The teenagers who were members of the mosque youth were very active and enthusiastic in carrying out various activities, especially during the Ramadhan month. And in every activity, of course, there were some obstacles. It occured because most of the members were students, so that their time often clashed with class schedules with mosque activities and the burden of study that sometimes took up time so that the time for mosque activities became limited.
