Abstract

Floods are natural disasters that occur almost every year in various regions in Indonesia and are usually caused by the factor of increasing the volume of water from upstream river flow due to the intensity of rainfall which continues to increase over a long period of time. Therefore, mitigation efforts are very necessary by building infrastructure facilities, namely dams. Dams in Indonesia generally still carry out a manual monitoring system, namely by visual observation by the dam supervisory staff. Therefore, an automatic system is needed to monitor changes in conditions that occur upstream and inside the dam in realTime using Internet Of Things technology by applying the tsukamoto fuzzy logic method to produce motion decisions on the dam door. This system will be installed with YL-83 sensor to measure rainfall intensity, YF-S201 sensor to measure average water velocity and K-0135 sensor to measure water level inside the dam using ESP32 as the microcontroller. After all the values are collected, the value will be further processed with the Tsukamoto fuzzy logic method which will result in a decision to open the dam door with the help of a Stepper Motor. Each parameter value that becomes a reference for dam door motion will be displayed on the I2C LCD screen and Blynk web Dashboard.
