Abstract

Well D and Well P are oil wells located in the X field in the Central Sumatra Basin which have been operating since December 22, 1988. Because wells D and P are in the same field. There are similarities in the types of lithology that compose them, namely Sandstone, silt and clay rocks. However, Based on production data on March 10, 2020, both wells have a water cut that has reached 100% with reserves in well P of 25.27 MMSTB and well D of, so one of the efforts that needs to be done is Layer Transfer Rework (KUPL) by searching for other productive layers so that the two wells are not permanently closed (abandonment well). In this study, a qualitative and quantitative approach was used by conducting literature review and data collection in the form of Well Logging Data in the form of las file data, marker data, Production Data which will then be analyzed for the hydrocarbon reserve prospect layer using interactive petrophysiscs (IP) software, then conducting petrophysical readings based on log/well data to determine the conditions in the new layer after that calculating the hydrocarbon reserves in the productive hydrocarbon layer that will be worked over, based on the results of research on Well D and Well P which have their constituent lithology, namely sandstone, Silt and clay. But the main lithology of the constituent is sandstone, in wells D and Well P are wells with the majority of oil. Based on the results of the interpretation of Well D in the work Over layer is in Layer B with an Original oil in place value of 2,577 MMSTB, while in Well P in the Work Over layer is in layer A with an Original Oil in Place value of 39,817 MMSTB
