Abstract

he Uwai Dam is one of five dams in the SIKUBALPAWAI Irrigation District (DI). In reality, there are several problems with the Uwai Dam irrigation network that have led to a decline in the function and performance of the irrigation network and a decrease in crop productivity. Therefore, it is important to calculate the actual operational and maintenance requirements (AKNOP) to determine the current condition of the irrigation network, calculate the costs of managing operational and maintenance activities, calculate the costs of operational activities, and calculate the costs of maintenance activities that need to be incurred to carry out operational and maintenance activities in the Uwai Dam irrigation network for the 2025 fiscal year. The method used in this research is a quantitative study with a case study approach to the Uwai Dam irrigation network in the SIKUBALPAWAI Irrigation Area. The data used includes primary data in the form of field survey results or inventory, and secondary data in the form of technical documents, irrigation network maps, and unit cost standards. The analysis is carried out by classifying irrigation network components according to their types and aspects, calculating the length and area of each component, and determining cost requirements based on the operation and maintenance category. The results of the research conducted on the Uwai Dam irrigation network analysis show that the performance index of the Uwai Dam irrigation network is 66.27%, which is categorized as moderate, meaning that the performance of the irrigation network is poor and needs attention. From the performance assessment of the irrigation network, the actual operational and maintenance needs (AKNOP) for the operational management and maintenance aspects amount to Rp. 1,471,615,398, for the operational aspects of the irrigation network amount to Rp. 78,868,800, and for the irrigation network maintenance aspect, Rp. 930,206,701, resulting in a total actual operational and maintenance requirement (AKNOP) for the Uwai Dam irrigation network of Rp. 2,480,690,900.
