Abstract

This study aimed to investigate whether there was a an effectiveness of singing method in improving students' arabic vocublary in grade VI at SD muhammadiyah 03 Pekanbaru. this study applied a quantitative approach. the quantitative approach is an approach that uses numbers that are added up as data which ate then analyzed (Achoita, 2020). The researcher applied a pre-experimental design with the from of one group pretest-posttest, that the sample was given a test before and after treatment in one group. The population of the study was student in grade VI with a sample size of 21 respondents. the data collection techniques of the study were tests and documentation, while the data analysis technique of the study was the T-test analysis performed by SPSS version 25. based on the results of the wilcoxon test, the Z value obtained was -4.078b with a p-value asymp significance (2-tailed) of 0.000 which was less than the predetermained a value or 0.000<0.05. So Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted from the wilcoxon test statistical table, it could be cocluded that there was significant effectiveness of students' arabic vocublary mastery in grade VI at SD Muhammadiyah 03 Leading School.
