Abstract

Community Institutions are defined as a network of inter-writing relationship processes and between human groups that function to maintain these relationships and their patterns, in accordance with the interests of humans and their groups. The data collection techniques are interviews and documentation studies, the research location is the Sidomulyo Barat Village, Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City. The research subjects are the Village Head of Sidomulyo Barat Village, Village employees in Sidomulyo Barat Village, RT Head and Community. The results of the study show that the performance of Community Institutions in the Sidomulyo Barat Village, Tuah Madani District, Pekanbaru City in terms of Responsiveness is not good, less appropriate in addressing the Village and passive in conveying community aspirations. The obstacles faced in the performance of Community Institutions in the Village are the lack of Government, the lack of Government Appreciation of Community Institutions.
