Abstract

This research uses two variables, namely occupational safety and health as the independent variable (X) and employee performance as the dependent variable (Y). This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of occupational safety and health (K3) on employee performance at PT Pulau Sambu (Kuala Enok). The type of research that the author uses is descriptive survey research and quantitative research methods using SPSS 27 software. The population in this research is employees of PT Pulau Sambu (Kuala Enok) totaling 270 respondents. The results of this research show that the Occupational Safety and Health variable with the indicators: Protective work equipment, comfortable work space, healthy work space, lighting in the work room, respondents got very good results. Meanwhile, for the Employee Performance variable with indicators of Quality, Quantity, Efficiency, Employee Performance, respondents got results in the Very Good category. The results of simple linear regression research show that Occupational Safety and Health have a significant relationship with employee performance. The coefficient of determination is 0.412 (41.2%), which means that occupational safety and health has a 41.2% influence on employee performance and 58.8% is influenced by other factors.
