Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the contribution of leg muscle explosive power and wrist flexibility to volleyball smash accuracy among Pendidikan Jasmani students at Riau Islamic University FY 2022-2023. This type of research is multiple correlation. The sample in this study was 13 Pendidikan Jasmani students at Riau Islamic University for the 2022-2023 academic year. The research instruments used were the vertical jump test, wrist flexibility test and volleyball smash accuracy test. The data analysis technique used is calculating the contribution value from the results of the multiple correlation value. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that (1) There is a contribution to the explosive power of leg muscles, accuracy of volleyball smashes for Pendidikan Jasmani students at Riau Islamic University for the 2022-2023 academic year with a value of rcount = 0.691 > rtable = 0.553 and a KD value of 47.75% (2) There is a contribution Wrist flexibility on volleyball smash accuracy for Pendidikan Jasmani students at Riau Islamic University FY 2022-2023 with grades rcount = 0.612 > rtable = 0.553 and the KD value is 37.45%. (3) There is a contribution of leg muscle explosive power and wrist flexibility to the volleyball smash accuracy of Pendidikan Jasmani students at Riau Islamic University FY 2022-2023 with a value of rcount = 0.808 > rtable = 0.553 and a KD value of 65.29%.
