Abstract

The research aims to determine students critical reading when using digital platform and to find students interest searching information using digital platform as tool to find reliable information and understand the information given by digital platform and there are so many platform can used by students or teacher for example google form to find data and internet to find information. Qualitative method was used to analyse data about perception on the use digital platform on students critical reading and the instrument used in this research was questionnaire also the questionnaire consist of 30 statements. The result processed using qualitative method with likert scale formula. The result from 30 questionnaire using google form as media to find the data from students was majority respondent choose agree in each statement and the researchers calculated average index percentage every indicator knowledge and confidence in using digital platform with mean 76% and rating interval is agree, awareness of digital platform and digital reading 71.6% with rating interval agree, practice and challenges in critical reading using digital platform 74,1% mean and agree as rating interval, and importance of digital platfrom and critical reading 75,9% with agree. Because that students have perception on critical reading on digital platform.
