Abstract

This research is motivated by the influence of profitability, capital structure, and company size on the timeliness of submission of financial statements in property companies listed on the Stock Exchange. Factors that can affect the timeliness of financial reporting include profitability, liquidity, ownership structure, company size, and audit opinion. The capital structure and size of the company can have a significant effect on the value of the company. This study aims to find out how profitability, capital structure and company size affect the timeliness of submission of financial statements in property companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2019-2022. The method used in this study is a quantitative method using a deductive-inductive approach. The results of the study convey that profitability has a significant positive influence on the timeliness of financial report submission. The results of the study show that the capital structure has a significant positive influence on the timeliness of financial report submission. The results of the study show that capital structure has a significant positive influence on the timeliness of financial report submission.
