Abstract

The prospect of this tofu-making business is very good and profitable, even now there are many enthusiasts among the public. The research objectives were 1) Characteristics and profiles of Lutfi tofu business actors in Pandau Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. 2) Procurement of raw materials and supporting materials, production processes, production costs, production, income and efficiency (RCR) for Lutfi's tofu business in Pandau Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. 3) The added value of Lutfi's tofu business in Pandau Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. The research method used is the case study method on Lutfi's tofu agro-industry in Pandau Jaya Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency. The number of respondents is 1 tofu business owner and 3 workers outside the family. This study uses descriptive qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis and uses the hayami method. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The characteristics of Lutfi's tofu agro-industry entrepreneurs are in the productive age group, namely 37 years old and the age of the workforce used is also a productive age, namely an average of 22 years, the length of education of entrepreneurs is 9 years while the average workforce is 11 years. The business experience of entrepreneurs and workers is 5 years. The history of the business, which started from following his older brother to opening his own business, thanks to Mr. Lutfi's talent in making tofu with a business scale that is considered small because he has a business capital of Rp. 100,000,000 and the number of workers is 3 workers outside the family. 2) The use of soybean raw materials is 200 kg / production process. The use of supporting materials consists of 1 bunch of wood, 0.5 liters of vinegar and 10 liters of diesel fuel. Production technology still uses simple tools. The total production cost is IDR 2,540,086 / production process with a production yield of 1,632 kg with a selling price per Kg of IDR 2,708. net income received by entrepreneurs amounting to Rp 1,879,909. And the RCR/business efficiency is 1.74 which means that Lutfi's tofu business is feasible to develop. 3) The added value of Lutfi's tofu business is IDR 10,810 with an output price of IDR 2,708, a value added ratio of 46% and a workforce income of IDR 235/Kg.
