Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the Campus Relations Department of PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper in fostering collaborative partnerships with Universitas Riau, specifically within the Diploma III Program of Pulp and Paper Technology. Employing a qualitative approach, the research utilized interviews and observations to gather in-depth data on the interaction dynamics between industry and academia. The findings reveal that the Campus Relations Department functions effectively as a boundary spanner, bridging the gap between industrial needs and a relevant educational curriculum. This collaboration has resulted in the joint development of curricula, the provision of internship programs, and the enhancement of graduate competencies to meet industry standards. The synergy between the two institutions has positively impacted human resource quality and the innovation of applied research, offering valuable insights for future partnerships.
