Abstract
This study aims to find out how leadership communication strategies are applied in improving employee performance in the Riau Provincial Driving Teacher Center office. An effective communication strategy is indispensable in the work environment to create a harmonious relationship between leaders and employees. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The informants in this study consisted of leaders and employees within the Riau Provincial Driving Teacher Center office. The results of the study show that leaders implement open, two-way communication strategies and utilize digital media and regular forums as a means of delivering information. In addition, communication that is carried out personally and emotionally also creates a conducive work atmosphere and increases employee work motivation. In conclusion, the right and consistent leadership communication strategy can have a positive impact on improving employee performance.
