Abstract

The development of technology and the rapid use of social media, especially Instagram, have opened up opportunities for individuals and businesses to build personal branding more broadly and interactively. This study aims to find out how to manage the personal branding of the Instagram account @aksa.moto, a photography and videography studio located in Pekanbaru. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that the management of personal branding @aksa.moto is carried out through the application of the Pyramid Personal Branding concept which includes determining brand identity (Determine Who You Are), core activities carried out (Determine What You Do), self-positioning (Position Yourself), and consistent brand management (Manage Your Brand). Studio Aksamoto highlights the characteristics of visual storytelling and photo tones that are tailored to market trends and client preferences. The strategies implemented include the use of segmented tone, superior client service, and the use of Instagram Ads to increase reach. The personal branding that is built succeeds in creating a professional, creative impression, and is able to inspire followers and attract potential clients. This research is expected to be a reference in the management of personal branding on social media, especially Instagram.
