Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the interaction effect as well as the main effect of eggshell powder and rabbit urine POC on the growth and production of cabbage plants. The research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution, KM 11 No.113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The study lasted for 4 months starting from September to December 2022. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) which consisted of 2 factors, namely the first factor eggshell powder consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 10, 20, and 30 g/plant. The second factor POC of rabbit urine consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 30, 60 and 90 ml/l of water. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, age at which crop was formed, age at harvest, plant weight, head weight, head diameter, root length, root volume and clubroot percentage. Observational data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction effect of eggshell powder and POC of rabbit urine was significantly different on plant height, number of leaves, age of head formed, plant weight, head weight, head diameter, root length, root volume except harvest age. The best treatment was a combination of 30 g/plant egg shell powder and 90 ml/l water POC of rabbit urine. The main effect of egg shell powder was significantly different for all observation parameters. Best treat eggshell powder 30 g/plant. The effect of POC of rabbit urine is significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment POC rabbit urine 90 ml/l water.
