Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of interactions and factors the main Nasa POC fertilizer and NPK Mg 12:12:17:2 fertilizer on growth oil palm seedlings in pre nursery on peat media. This research has carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Cold Water, Air cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The research was conducted from August to November 2022. Design used in this study is Completely Randomized Design (CRD) factorial consisting of two factors, the first factor is the application of POC fertilizer Nasa consists of 4 levels of treatment namely; without Nasa POC, 3, 6, 9 ml/l and administration NPK Mg 12:12:17:2 fertilizer consists of 4 treatment levels namely; without NPK Mg 12:12:17:2, 2, 4, 6 g/seed. Parameters observed were plant height, number leaf midrib, length of frond, stem diameter and number of primary roots. Data observations were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ follow-up test on level of 5%. The results showed that the interaction between POC Nasa and NPK Mg 12:12:17:2 does not have a significant effect on all parameters on oil palm seeds. The main factor of Nasa's POC is real for all parameters observation. The best treatment is at a dose of 9 ml/l. The main factor of NPK Mg 12:12:17:2 real for all observation parameters.
