Abstract

MOL of Vegetable Waste on the Growth and Yield of Celery Plants. It was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru City, starting from December 2021 to March 2022. This study used a Completely Randomized Factorial Design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was the dose of Trichocompost which consisted of 4 levels, namely: 0, 125, 250, 375 g/polybag and the second factor was the MOL dose of vegetable waste which consisted of 4 levels, namely 0, 250, 500, 750 ml/polybag. Parameters observed were plant height, harvest age, number of tillers, number of leaf sheaths, fresh weight per plant, dry weight per plant, economic fresh weight and root volume. Observational data were analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ follow-up test with a level of 5%. The results showed that the interaction effect of Trichocompost and MOL of vegetable waste was significant for all observed parameters of celery plants. The best treatment was Trichocompost 375 g/polybag and 750 ml/polybag MOL of vegetable waste. The main effect of Trichocompost was significant on all observation parameters, the best treatment was 375 g/polybag. The main effect of MOL of vegetable waste on all observation parameters, the best treatment dose is 750 ml/polybag.
