Abstract
Food safety is an important aspect in maintaining public health, especially for fresh plant-based food products. This study aims to develop a web-based food safety information system at the UPT for Food Safety and Quality Control of the Riau Province Food Security Service to support certification processes such as SPPB-PSAT, PSAT-PD, packaging houses, and Prima Certification. The system development method used is the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with stages of planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. This system is designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database with the Laravel framework. The results of system testing using the black box method show that all functions run well. In addition, trials on 20 respondents showed a user satisfaction level of 90.33%, indicating that the system is feasible to implement. This system is able to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of food safety information in real time, as well as provide convenience in submitting and managing certification for users.
