Abstract
This study aims to determine the interaction and main effects between water stress and PGPR administration on the growth of acacia seedlings (Acacia crassicarpa). This study was conducted at the Merawang Nursery, Jalan Pulau Muda Lintas Bono, Pulau Muda Village, Teluk Meranti District, Pelalawan Regency. This study lasted for 90 days from March 2024 to May 2024. The design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) Factorial consisting of two factors. The first factor is Water Stress (C) which consists of 4 levels, namely 3, 4, 5 and 6 L/m . The second factor is Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (P) which consists of 4 levels, namely 1, 2, 3 and 4 ml/L. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, root length, root nodules, root volume, root wet weight and root humidity. Observation data were analyzed statistically and carried out with a further Honestly Significant Difference Test (HSD) at 5%. The results showed that the interaction effect of water stress and PGPR was significant on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, root length, root nodules, root volume, root wet weight and root moisture. The best treatment was at water stress of 5 L/m 2 and PGPR 4 ml/L. The main effect of water stress was significant on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, root length, number of root nodules, root volume, root wet weight and root moisture. The best treatment was at water stress of 5 L/m 2 . The main effect of PGPR was significant on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, root length, number of root nodules, root volume, root wet weight and root moisture. The best treatment was at PGPR 4 ml/L. 2
