Abstract

The government really needs a more efficient document filing system so that it can be accessed offline by all parties. This can make village government systems that are outside the reach of internet signal coverage able to connect directly to the document filing system. Currently, archive management has not received sufficient attention, so document archiving is needed to overcome existing problems in the village, such as damaged or lost archives, the length of time needed to search for an archive due to archive management still using conventional methods. This study aims to create an offline-based document filing system, create a system folder that protects offline-based document archiving, and create a systematic management system for offline-based document archiving. This type of research uses the waterfall method. The research results show that an offline-based desktop document filing system can facilitate village government archives, while the protect folder can provide an archive security system for village government.
