Abstract

The use of spices can produce a variety of traditional foods and drinks that are rich in benefits and have benefits and a distinctive aroma from the spices they produce. The use of spices can be classified in the category of dry spices and fresh herbs. In general, the learning system in schools is still oriented towards books and verbal delivery by teachers at SMKS Ekatama Pekanbaru. Augmented Reality is an alternative media in making this application, with the markerless method and the ARCore SDK library. To make the application using Unity 3D software and making 3D objects using blender. Based on the test results at a distance, 3D objects can appear at a minimum distance of 5 cm and a maximum of 200 cm, light intensity above 0 lux outside or indoors, and can track with plain paper objects, textured objects and objects with uneven surfaces. With the provision of having a light intensity above 0 lux. Then the results of tests carried out in the field, the total percentage achieved from 20 respondents was 85%, this makes the application can be used as a learning application for the use of spices in food and drinks in Indonesia.
