Abstract

The role of interpersonal communication between parents and BK teachers in overcoming disruptive behavior of students in schools. Disruptive behavior such as bullying, skipping class hours, disrupting classmates during class hours, disobeying rules, and arriving late can interfere with the learning process and become serious challenges in the world of education. The purpose of this study is to find out the role of interpersonal communication between parents and BK teachers in overcoming disruptive behavior of students at SMAS Dharma Bhakti Mandau. Using qualitative research methods and data collection techniques, it was carried out through interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that effective interpersonal communication between parents and BK teachers plays an important role in overcoming disruptive behavior of students. Open, supportive, and positive communication can help parents and teachers in overcoming problems faced by students and jointly finding the right solutions. In addition, the active involvement of parents and BK teachers in communicating has been proven to increase students' motivation and attitudes in a better direction. The conclusion of this study shows that communication between parents and BK teachers is an important role and is the main factor in overcoming disruptive behavior of students. Even though there are challenges such as parents' busyness, openness in communication is still the main aspect so that information about children's behavior can be conveyed clearly and can find solutions together.
