Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of information technology in the field of education, one of which is Augmented Reality technology that can be used as a learning media for the introduction of makharijul hijaiyah letters. At this time usually the method used is still manual by giving the theory of reading Hijaiyah letters to children using iqro books so that it causes a lack of interest in children in learning Hijaiyah letters. Technology such as Augmented Reality can be utilized as a learning medium because it can display 3-dimensional objects of hijaiyah letters and tajweed laws using a camera. To build this augmented reality learning media application using Unity game engine and using ARCore SDK library. This application is useful as a learning media and will be used in Raudhatul Atfal (RA) Sirojul 'Ulum kindergarten. Based on testing at a distance of 10 cm to 500 cm the application can still be displayed, and the maximum distance that can be detected by the markerless track is 500 cm. based on testing the light intensity of the animation can be displayed outdoors or indoors and can track any location with a minimum light intensity of 47 lux. Based on the results of user testing obtained a value of 86% with a total response of 30 people, so that this application can be implemented as a learning media makharijul hijaiyah letters.
