Abstract

Basketball is an interesting sport and now basketball is a sport that is growing rapidly. Basketball games are a type of game with complex techniques, in carrying out basketball games by students, for example at school, they will certainly experience difficulties due to their low ability and age level, and are not yet suitable for carrying out standard size basketball games so modification techniques are needed in the game. This. The use of the right method is an absolute requirement for achieving a learning goal. Currently, augmented reality is used widely in various industries, including education as an interactive learning tool, and healthcare as a teaching tool. So by making an application of Basic Basketball Techniques with Augmented Reality it makes it easy to learn good and correct basic basketball techniques with 3D shapes that are able to attract interest in learning basic basketball techniques that are correct for beginners. Based on the results of application testing, by filling out a questionnaire 85.11% of the 30 users who tested agreed that the application of Basic Basketball Techniques Using Augmented Reality could be a learning method. And it can grow new seeds of children in Indonesia, especially in Riau, and who will make the name of the Indonesian nation proud in national or international matches in basketball sports.
