Abstract

In the development of an increasingly advanced world of technology, our awareness is needed to try to apply appropriate technology that can benefit people's lives. With the application of scientific technology, especially in the field of informatics engineering, as is the case with hotels, hotels are lodging facilities that are often visited by guests from out of town, whether on vacation or on long trips, so the hotel must have different facilities for each room. and when the researcher visited the hotel the researcher saw the access key to enter the room using an RFID card so the hotel must have many cards to open the room door access because each room can only use one RFID card for one hotel room door and each room has an RFID card What's different, then a door security system method was created with sophisticated technology so that it can help make it easier for hotel guests. This research develops an automatic room door security system using identification such as KTP, SIM, etc. as keys to open and lock guest doors and using keypads as emergency keys and to access hotel employee doors where RFID and keypads will be connected to the Nodemcu microcontroller. as an Internet of Things (IoT) service. Nodemcu will later send data to the website, where the website will control door access, register hotel guest identifiers, and create a password for the Keypad.
