Abstract

In America children start walking at the age of 11.4-12.4 months and children in Europe between 12.4-13.6 months. Meanwhile in Indonesia, the sample studied was 14.02 months. These differences are caused by parenting styles, environment and mother's knowledge that play a role in the development of a child. One of the factors that can affect children's growth is parental ignorance regarding how to stimulate children. The application to be built can display several 3D animation models from storyline illustrations in real time. This application was built using Unity 3D with the ARCore method and with a markerless technique, so it doesn't require a marker to display 3D animated objects. Loction marking as a marker using a smartphone camera. The Augmented Reality application that will be designed can only be used on an Android smartphone with a minimum version of 4.4 (kitkat). The results of this study are an Android-based 3D Learning Media application that can be implemented as a learning media for baby gross motor stimulation. Based on the results of design, testing and analysis, the following conclusions can be drawn: The Augmented Reality application entitled Learning Media for Baby Gross Motor Movement Stimulation using Augmented Reality aims to be able to help parents understand how to stimulate the correct gross motor movements of babies. It is hoped that the application can make it easier for parents to learn how to stimulate the baby.
