Abstract

The health facilities available in the Bangkinang Kota Urban Area are not spread evenly and tend to be concentrated so that it is likely that many areas will find it difficult to reach these health facility services. The purpose of this study was to identify the accessibility level of health facility services based on the shortest distance and the fastest travel time in Bangkinang Kota Urban Area. This research approach is a deductive approach and the research method used is a quantitative method. To identify the accessibility level of health facilities using the Accessibility Remoteness Index of Australia (ARIA) method and calculated using a network analyst with the fastest travel time and distance. The population of this research is all health facilities and road networks in Bangkinang Kota Urban Area. The sample for health facilities is the entire population and the sample for the road network is 1 arterial road, 3 collectors, 3 local roads and 3 neighborhood roads. Based on the fastest travel time, the Hospital has a moderate level of accessibility, the Health Center has a high level of accessibility, the Supporting Health Center has a high level of accessibility, the Clinic has a high level of accessibility. Based on the shortest distance, the Hospital has a low level of accessibility, the Health Center has a high level of accessibility, the Supporting Health Center has a high level of accessibility, the Clinic has a moderate level of accessibility. The level of accessibility of health facilities in the Bangkinang Kota Urban Area is included in the High index class, both in terms of the fastest travel time and the shortest travel distance.
