Abstract

Kampar Regency has a lot of tourism potential spread across almost all of its territory. So far, efforts to develop tourism in Kampar Regency have not been maximized, marked by the disparities that occur between tourist attraction objects. Objects of tourist attraction cannot grow separately from other objects. Objects that have been developed should be able to stimulate tourism objects in the surrounding area to develop. To overcome this, effective and efficient steps are needed to create integrated tourism through the formation of clusters. This study aims to obtain the shape of clusters of tourist attraction objects. Data collection in this study used secondary data in the form of data from related agencies and literature. The analytical method used consists of descriptive analysis to describe the types of tourist attraction objects and spatial analysis to interpret the distribution of tourist attraction objects. Then a cluster analysis of the basic Agglomerative type hierarchical method was carried out with the Average Linkage sub method using the SPSS 26.0 software program. This analysis was used to obtain the shape of clusters of tourist attraction objects based on the type and shape of clusters of tourist attraction objects in Kampar Regency. This research shows that there are 60 objects of natural tourist attraction, 38 objects of cultural tourist attraction and 30 objects of man-made tourist attraction with distribution in almost the entire area of Kampar Regency. The results of the form of clusters by type consist of 6 natural tourist attraction object clusters, 7 cultural tourist attraction object clusters and 6 man-made tourist attraction object clusters. While the shape of clusters of tourist attraction objects in Kampar Regency, 6 clusters were obtained. Each cluster can be developed to create integrated tourism.
