Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze the impact of the use of information technology and the ability of human resources on the quality of accounting information at PT. Pelindo Persero Pekanbaru and Batam branches. A total of 48 employees were involved as respondents in this study. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS 21. The findings of this study show that the use of information technology has a positive influence on the quality of accounting information. In addition, the ability of human resources also contributes positively to the quality of accounting information. If the accounting information used does not meet quality standarts, the company is advised to improve the use of information technology and improve the capabilities of its human resources.
