Abstract

Leadership is the embodiment of the leader's behavior regarding competence and ability to lead, this manifestation usually forms a certain pattern or form called a leadership style. camphor. The assessment indicators used in this study are the ability to make decisions, the ability to motivate, the ability to communicate, the ability to control subordinates, responsibility and the ability to control emotions. The type of research used by the author is descriptive, that is, it describes the actual situation of what was found at the time this research was conducted based on the author's observations in the field by collecting data, clarifying and analyzing the problem of this research, while the method used in this research is a qualitative method, namely research whose main purpose is to gain insight into certain topics, namely through observation, interviews and documentation methods, the informants in this study were the head of Kubang Jaya Village, Head of Kubang Jaya Village Administration and the Kubang Jaya Village Development Head. Based on this analytical technique, the authors assess and conclude that the services at the Kubang Jaya village office have not been carried out optimally, while the obstacles in the leadership style of the village head are the rarity of village officials at the village office in terms of service while the underlying is village affairs outside the office. village so that the service at the village office is less than optimal
