Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of digitization that has been carried out by the Government of Pelalawan Regency, especially at the BKPSDM of Pelalawan Regency. This research method is a qualitative research method using interviews and observation as data collection techniques to answer research questions including; the digitization process at BKPSDM Pelalawan, the supporting factors in carrying out the personnel administration service process which is carried out digitally, and the supporting factors in carrying out the personnel administration service process which is carried out digitally. In analyzing this study, researchers used egovernment indicators, namely web presence, interaction, transaction and transformation and digitalization indicators, namely; planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating. The results of the research in this study are Digitalization which is applied to BKPSDM, namely the Personnel Management Information System (SIMPEG). The digitization process can be accessed on the website https://simpeg.pelalawankab.go.id/login/.To complete the administration, employees are required to prepare files in the form of documents (electronic documents). Furthermore, there are interaction features at the e-government stage as a manifestation of the digitalization process in the service aspect. The supporting factors for digitization at BKPSDM include systems and facilities as well as factors inhibiting the implementation of digitization at BKPSDM including internet network connections and a shortage of Human Resources (HR) who handle SIMPEG.
