Abstract
This study aims to analyze and explain knowing and analyzing public service innovation through the Srikandi application in Binawidya District, Pekanbaru City and the obstacles in implementing public service innovation through the Srikandi application. As an innovation, the application in the implementation of an integrated Electronic-Based Government System in Pekanbaru City that has been implemented at this time is the SRIKANDI application. The research method used is a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. while the research informants who were included by researchers were 6 (six) people. The results of this study explain that public service innovation through the Srikandi application in Binawidya District, Pekanbaru City has not run optimally. This can be seen from the indicators of service innovation that have not been fulfilled, namely: Relative Advantage, the Srikandi application provides many advantages, including minimizing work using paper and saving time; Compatibility, after comparing manual and electronic correspondence administration work, Complexity (Level of Complexity) that the level of complexity of using the Srikandi application that the general public cannot understand lies in the completion of correspondence that is still not understood by the public; Triability (Possibility of trying), Srikandi's innovation has been tested and proven to have advantages or added value compared to manual mailing services; Observability, Srikandi's service innovations can be observed by all levels of society. The obstacle factor in implementing Srikandi's innovations is the quality of human resources, funding/budgetary resources, in implementing the Srikandi application program. The internet network is not evenly distributed in several sub-districts, sometimes there are technical problems such as server down and in terms of communication and coordination, there is still need for guidance for service officers in the subdistrict. Binawidya who doesn't understand the management of the Srikandi application.
