Abstract
The research entitled "Test the Effectiveness of Biofungides and Skin Compost (Ananas comosus (L) Merr) Against the Growth of Cucumber (Cucumis sativus L) Infected Phytium sp" under the guidance of Dr. Dr. Ir. Saripah Ulpah, M.Sc as supervisor I and Dr. Herman., SP., M.Sc as supervisor II. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of biofungicide and pineapple peel compost on the growth of cucumber sprouts. This research was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University in July – September 2021. This study used a factorial completely randomized design consisting of 2 factors with 3 replications. The first factor is pineapple peel ethanol extract biofungide (E) with a concentration of E0 = 0%, E1 = 7.5%, E2 = 22.5%, E3 = 45% and the second factor is pineapple peel compost (K) with a dose of K0 = 0 gr, K1 = 25gr, K2 = 50gr, K3 = 75 gr/plant. Parameters observed were age of sprouting (days), age of symptom onset (days), plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), age of sprouting death (days), percentage of seeds growing normally. The results showed that the effectiveness of biofungide and pineapple peel compost had a significant effect on cucumber germination height, with the best treatment being pineapple peel extract biofungicide, which was 45%, and pineapple peel compost, which was 50gr . Pineapple peel extract biofungicide significantly affected the age of sprouting, sprout height, number of leaves, and percentage of seeds growing normally, while the use of pineapple peel compost had a significant effect on all observed parameters
