Abstract
Research objectives for determine the main and interaction effect of giving BAP and Glucose Against Pigeon Orchid Plant Regeneration. The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of the interaction of BAP and Glucose on the regeneration of pigeon orchid plants. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with a factorial approach consists of two factors. The first factor is the provision of BAP which consists of 4 levels ie without giving BAP, 2 ppm BAP, 4 ppm BAP and 6 ppm BAP. Second factor i.e. giving Glucose which also consists of 4 levels, namely without giving Glucose, 10 gr Glucose, 30 gr Glucose and 50 gr Glucose. Parameters observed are percentage of explant life, number of roots, number of shoots, root length and plantlet height. The last observational data were analyzed statistically and continued with further testing BNJ at the level of 5%. The results showed that the concentration of BAP and Glucose interacted give effect to the number of shoots (fruit) and Pantlet height (mm) with the best treatment was found in the combination of BAP 4.0 ppm and Glucose 30 gr/L media (B2G2). The main effect of the concentration of BAP shows a significant effect on all parameters. The best treatment was found in the administration of 4 ppm BAP concentration (B2). The main effect of Glucose concentration shows a significant effect on parameter explant survival percentage (%), number of shoots (fruit), root length (mm) and plantlet height (mm) . The best treatment is found in the concentration of glucose 30 gr/L medium (G2).
