Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of measuring the level of financial performance at the Pekanbaru City Agriculture and Fisheries Service in 2022 and 2023 using the Value for Money method. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research. The types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are documentation and interviews. The results of the research that has been conducted at the Pekanbaru City Agriculture and Fisheries Service reviewed from the economic ratio, efficiency, and effectiveness have met the value for money principle. In 2022, the economic calculation of 94.7% was declared economical, the efficiency calculation of 106.64% was declared efficient, and the effectiveness calculation of 91.57% was declared ineffective. In 2023, the economic calculation of 85.78% was declared economical, the efficiency calculation of 129.93% was declared efficient, and the effectiveness calculation of 112.35% was declared effective. Therefore, the performance of the Pekanbaru City Agriculture and Fisheries Service in 2022 and 2023 is stated to have met the value for money principle.
