Abstract

This study aims to determine how communication is carried out by the Putri Hijabfluencer Riau community in providing support to Muslim women. In today’s digital era, this community serves not only as a platform for self-development for women who wear the hijab, but also as an active space for spreading inspirational messages through social media especially Instagram and through face-to-face offline activities. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, with data obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. Muslim women in this study are women who have developed awareness of their Islamic identity and actively seek support in the process of change or strengthening of that identity. They are individuals who are ready to receive inspirational, motivational, and educational messages from the Putri Hijabfluencer Riau community, either as members or as audiences connected through social media. The findings show that members of the Putri Hijabfluencer Riau community take on the role of communicators through supportive communication, as shown through consistent emotional, informational, and motivational support given to fellow Muslim women. Therefore, it can be concluded that supportive and effective communication plays an important role in building solidarity and empowering Muslim women amid contemporary challenges. Putri Hijabfluencer Riau has proven that the hijab is not a barrier to growth, but rather an identity to be proud of.
