Abstract
Special school teachers face various challenges in the learning process because of the students with special needs for which they are responsible. To carry out their role optimally, special school teachers need good psychological well-being, one of the attitudes believed to strengthen psychological well-being is tawadhu'. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between tawadhu' with psychological well-being in special school teachers in Pekanbaru City. The sample in this study was 198 special school teachers in Pekanbaru City, which was determined using saturated sampling technique. The instruments used in this study are the invariance tawadhu' scale (ITS) which consists of 20 items and the teacher's psychological well-being scale which consists of 52 items. The results of statistical analysis with Spearman'rho correlation test showed that there is a significant positive relationship between tawadhu' with psychological well-being in special school teachers in Pekanbaru City, with a correlation value (r) of 0.685 with a significant value of 0.000 (p <0.05). That is, the higher the tawadhu', the higher the psychological well-being of special school teachers in Pekanbaru City.
