Abstract

The problem in the research was the low level of physical condition of the Tomas Jr Teratak Air Hitam football club athletes. This research aims to determine and identify the level of physical condition of Tomas Jr Teratak Air Hitam football athletes. The type of research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study was Tomas Jr Teratak Air Hitam soccer players, totaling 22 people. The sampling technique uses total sampling, meaning that all members of the population are sampled, the sample in this study was 22 people. Data was collected using measurements of five variables. Cardio vascular endurance is tested by running for 15 minutes, local endurance of the arm and shoulder muscles (extensors) is tested by Push-Ups, speed is tested by running 50 meters, agility and coordination are tested by Shuttle run 6 x 10 meters , leg muscle power is tested with the vertical jump test. Data processing uses descriptive data using frequency tabulation and average P=f/nX100%. The results of research on the physical condition of football player Tomas Jr Teratak Air Hitam show: 1) Cardio vascular endurance is in the poor category, 2) Arm and shoulder muscle endurance is in the good category, 3) Speed is in the good category, 4) Agility is in the good category, 5) Leg muscle power is in the sufficient category. 6) Overall physical condition by averaging the scores of each physical condition test item from 22 people, in general the level of combined physical condition of Tomas Jr Teratak Air Hitam football club players is in the good category.
