Abstract
The development of information technology offers significant opportunities in the field of education, one of which is through the application of Augmented Reality (AR) technology. The topic of human eye anatomy is often considered difficult for students to understand due to its abstract nature and the lack of visual representation when using only textbooks or two-dimensional images. This research aims to develop an AR-based learning media that presents a 3D model of the eye anatomy in an interactive and easy-to-understand manner, especially for students at SMAN 1 Teluk Belengkong, where such technology had not previously been implemented in the learning process. The development method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which consists of six stages: concept, design, material collection, assembly, testing, and distribution. The application was developed using Unity 3D and utilized ARCore with a markerless method. Testing was conducted through questionnaires distributed to students and validated by a Biology subject teacher. The results showed that the application received positive responses from users, with an average score of 84.7%. This indicates that the AR- based learning media is effective as a learning aid for understanding eye anatomy.
