Abstract

In an effort to realize an increase in the quality of better public services, the Supreme Court began to make efforts to realize IT-based modern justice by creating innovations in electronic criminal case administration services that are integrated between law enforcement officials. The innovation is a web-based application called E_BERPADU. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the implementation of the electronic criminal case administration process through the E_BERPADU Application at the PTSP at the Dumai District Court, using the George C. Edwards III Theory approach. The research sample was taken from informants who were directly involved in the criminal case administration process, the leadership as the person in charge, officers at PTSP and service users from the Prosecutor's Office and the Dumai City Police. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study found that the implementation of the E_BERPADU application has been carried out well and most of the indicators have been met. However, there are still factors that need to be improved including related to resources, namely the need for training for E_BERPADU operators and network stability in real time. Suggestions that can be given are to hold training for operators and continuous monitoring of the service process by the leadership.
