Abstract

Test of 3 Types of biochar and Organic NPK Fertilizer Doses on the Growth and Production of Soybean Plants (Glycine max L.) on Ultisol Soil=. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of testing 3 types of biochars and organic NPK fetilizers doses on the growth and production of soybean plants (Glycine max L.) on ultisol soil. The research was conducted at the experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agricultre, Univesity Islami of Riau, Jalan Air Dingin ujung, Air Dingin Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The research period was carried out for 4 mounths starting from November 2024 to February 2025. The research was conducted using a completely randomizid design consisting of two factors. The first factor is several types of biochar consisting 4 levels, namely without biochar, rice husk biochar, coconut cell biochar, and TKKS biochar. The second factor is the dose of organic NPK fertilizer consisting of 4 levels, namely 0, 36, 72 and 108 g/plot. The parameters observed plant height, relative growth rate, percetage of root nodules, flowring age, harvest age, percentage of full pods, number of pods per plant, water content, dry weight per plant, and weight 100 seeds. The research data were analyzed statistically and further with BNJ test at a level 5%. The result of study indicate that the interaction of several types of biochar and organik NPK fertilizer significantly affected the relative growth rate, rood nodules percentage, flowring age, harvest age, percentage of pood ith fleshs, number of pods per plant, dry weight and weight of 100 seeds. The best treatment was a combination of biochar and organi NPK fertilizer 108 g/plot. The main effect of TKKS biochar was significant on all parameters. The best treatment as the addition of TKKS biochar. The main effect of organic NPK fertilizer doses was significant on all parameters. The best treatment as ith a dose of 108 g/plot.
