Abstract

The declining price of coconut affects the income of farmers, which in turn affects the welfare of farmers because the income level of farmers affects the household expenditure of hybrid coconut farmers. The sampling technique is done by Random Sampling. The farmer population was randomly taken as much as 5%. So that the number of samples of hybrid coconut farmers amounted to 53 farmers. Rp.55,510,189/year, income obtained amounted to Rp.42,358,068/year and farming efficiency obtained RCR (Revenue Cost Ratio) of 4.2 (3) The structure of household income of hybrid coconut farmers is the largest comes from hybrid coconut farming income. This proves that income from hybrid coconut farming is more prioritized than income from other farms and non-farming. (4) The largest household expenditure of hybrid coconut farmers comes from non-food expenditure which is 62.41% (5) Factors that significantly affect household expenditure of hybrid coconut farmers in Tempuling Subdistrict are household income, number of family members and number of assets, while the level of education of farmers, education level of wife and amount of savings are not significant to household expenditure of hybrid coconut farmers in Tempuling Subdistrict.
