Abstract

White Oyster Mushroom Agribusiness System in Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province, under the guidance of Mrs. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ir. Hj. Septina Elida, M.Si White oyster mushroom cultivation has good prospects for development in Indonesia because of the very supportive natural conditions. This study aims to analyze: 1. Characteristics of entrepreneurs, workforce, and business profile of white oyster mushroom agribusiness; 2. Subsystem of providing production facilities in the white oyster mushroom business; 3. Farming subsystem in the white oyster mushroom business; 4. Agro-industrial subsystem in the white oyster mushroom business; 5. White oyster mushroom marketing subsystem. This research was carried out using a survey method, namely on the oyster mushroom business at the Nando's Mushroom House in Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province, starting from February 2024 to July 2024. The data collected are primary data and secondary data. This research was analyzed using descriptive, qualitative, and quantitative methods. The results of this study explain that: 1. White oyster mushroom entrepreneurs of Nando's Mushroom House are 29 years old, with a productive age category for the workforce, which is 24 years old on average. The white oyster mushroom business Nando Mushroom House was established in 2015 with initial capital, namely the entrepreneur's own capital with a business scale, namely a small business and employing 8 workers. 2. The system of providing production facilities has met the criteria of time, place, quantity, price, type, and quality. 3. In farming, the total cost incurred is IDR 43,185,575/production period, with a total production of 3,500 kg of white oyster mushrooms, with a gross income of IDR 105,000,000/production period. Meanwhile, net income is IDR 61,814,425/production period and RCR is 2.43. 4. Agroindustri has 3 processed white oyster mushroom products, namely krispy mushrooms, mushroom nuggets, and mushroom rendang with added value of Rp 49,927.67/Kg, mushroom nuggets of Rp 153,442.00/Kg and mushroom rendang of Rp 88,027.67/Kg. 5. The marketing channel in fresh white oyster mushrooms consists of 2 channels, the first channel is from entrepreneurs directly to consumers, the second channel from entrepreneurs, retailers and consumers. The first marketing channel has a selling price of IDR 30,000/Kg with an efficiency of IDR 10%, while the second marketing channel has a selling price of IDR 35,000/Kg with an efficiency of IDR 11.43%. while the marketing channel for processed white oyster mushrooms has 1 channel, namely directly to consumers with a selling price of crispy mushrooms of IDR 90,000/Kg with an efficiency of 5.5%, mushroom nuggets of IDR 90,000/Kg with an efficiency of 2.2% and mushroom rendang of IDR 160,000/Kg with an efficiency of 3.1%.
