Abstract

The large amount of tarffic and vehicle loads that pass through the road every day cayse damage to the road section. with the increasing number of vehicles, it is possibel that the road will beb damage in a relatively short time. basically the road will experience a decrease in its stuctural cuality according ti hte increasing age of the road., esoecially if it is passed by vehickes sith heavy loads an tends to exeed the provisiond. Teh purpose of this studi to identify the degree oaf road damage from overload loads on the road. analyze the remaining life valur of roas pavement due to loads that occur on the road. The method used is tge highways method in 2002 where the method of dividing the axle loads for each vehicke class and determining the value of the vehicle damage faktor (vdf) on rigid pavement roads. The VDF valur is used to calculate the Esal value,the esal vakue is used to calculate the remaing life of the pavement. The degree of road damage due to overload for class 6 with a load of 19.36 tons., the DKJ value of the front and rear wheels is safe. class 7a with a load of 30,88 tons,, the dkj value of yhe front and reas wheels is safe. class 7b woth a load of 34.81 tons. the dkj value with the front and rear wheels is considered safe. excessive loads can reduce the life of the planned pavement where the road pavement is planned for 20 years. However, due overload in the 19th year, the life of the pavement is only 5.58 % , this indicates that the in the 19 year, the expired. The remaing life in 2022 according to the plan is 95% , but due to an overload load, the remaining life in 2022 has decreased by 0.21 % to 94.79% .
