Abstract

This research will be conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru, for 3 months starting from February to April 2024. This study aims to determine the effect of interaction and the main effect of giving Bokashi taro leaf stems and POC taro leaf stems on the growth of taro kemumu plants (Colocasia gigantea (Blome) hook. f). This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors and 3 replications. The first factor is the Dose of POC taro leaf stems with 4 treatment levels, namely 0,250,500 and 750 ml / l of water and the second factor is the Dose of Bokashi taro leaf stems consisting of 4 treatment levels of 0,500,1000 and 1500 grams per plot. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves and leaf length. Observation data were analyzed statistically and carried out with the Advanced Test of Honestly Significant Differences (HSD) at the 5% level. The results of the study showed that the interaction of giving POC taro leaf stems and Bokashi taro leaf stems had a significant effect on all parameters with the best combination of taro leaf stem POC 750 ml/l water and taro leaf stem Bokashi 1500 g/plot. The main effect of taro leaf stem POC was significant on all observation parameters, the best treatment was 750 ml/l water. The main effect of taro leaf stem Bokashi fertilizer was significant on all observation parameters, the best treatment was a dose of 1500 g/plot.
