Abstract

This research aims to determine the main and interaction effects of Banana Peel MOL and Phonska NPK on the production of bitter melon plants (Momordica charantia. L). This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution No. 113, Air Winter Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru. This research was carried out for 4 months starting from February to May 2024. The experimental design used in this research was a completely randomized factorial design consisting of two factors. The first factor is the dose of MOL Banana Peel (M), which consists of 4 levels, namely 0; 200; 400; 600ml/plant. The second factor is the Phonska NPK dose consisting of 4 levels, namely 0; 6; 12; 18 g/plant. The results of the research showed that the interaction and main MOL of Banana Peel and NPK Phonska were significant on the parameters of flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, weight of fruit per plant, weight of fruit per fruit, length of the longest fruit, number of remaining fruit. The best treatment was the interaction of MOL Banana Peel (M3) with a volume of 600 ml/plant and NPK Phonska (P3) with a dose of 18 ml/plant. The main effect of Banana Peel MOL has a significant effect on the parameters of harvest age, number of fruit per plant, weight of fruit per plant, weight of fruit per fruit, length of the longest fruit, and number of remaining fruit. The main effect of NPK Phonska had a significant effect on the parameters of flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, weight of fruit per plant, weight of fruit per fruit, length of the longest fruit, and number of remaining fruit.
