Abstract
The research entitled The Effect of Banana Weevil POC and NPK 16:16:16 on the Growth and Production of Cayenne Pepper Plants (Capsicum frutescens L.). The research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution No. 11, Air Winter Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, for five months starting from April to August 2024. The research used a Completely Randomized Factorial Design. consists of 2 factors. The first factor is the POC concentration of banana hump consisting of 4 treatment levels: 0, 250, 500, 750 ml/l, while the second factor is the dose of 16:16:16 NPK fertilizer consisting of 4 treatment levels: 0, 7, 14, 21 g/ poly bag. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruit per plant, fruit weight per plant, stem diameter and number of remaining fruit. The data was analyzed statistically and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The best treatment was found at a banana weevil POC concentration of 750 ml/l and a NPK fertilizer dose of 16:16:16 21 g/polybag. The main factor is the concentration of banana weevil POC which influences all observation parameters. The best treatment was found at a banana weevil POC concentration of 750 ml/l.
