Abstract

This research aims to analyze innovations in implementing the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) program in Pekanbaru City. The research type is descriptive with qualitative methods. The results of research regarding innovations in implementing the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) program in Pekanbaru City were analyzed using several indicators. Indicators of relative advantage in implementing the innovative Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) program in Pekanbaru City include various satisfactions given and pleasure obtained by both ETLE organizers and the public, especially in the process of paying ticket fines. Compatibility indicators in implementing the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) program in Pekanbaru City can be seen from its ability to meet community needs and in accordance with the values and norms that exist in society. Indicators of complexity in implementing the ETLE program can be seen from the convenience provided after implementing ETLE in traffic, such as being able to reduce the rate of traffic violations and payment of fines made online. The capability indicators tested in the implementation of Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) were able to show its superiority which made this innovation well accepted by the public. Indicators of acceptance of innovation in the implementation of the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) program in Pekanbaru City have been well received as evidenced by the decrease in the number of fines and traffic accidents that occur, which means that people are starting to realize the importance of obeying existing traffic regulations.
