Abstract

This research is about the DPRD's supervisory function regarding the implementation of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget in Rokan Hilir Regency in 2022. One of the contents of the APBD is infrastructure development. Supervision of development will be effective if all DPRD members truly position themselves as supervisors in accordance with the functions regulated in statutory regulations. Based on researchers' observations and based on information from online media portals. Supervision of the Rokan Hilir Regency DPRD has not been carried out optimally so that in the implementation of road infrastructure development many violations and irregularities are still found. Many development activities have not been carried out and completed according to the specified time. The theory used in this research is the theory of supervision. Preventive supervision, intended to prevent deviations in the implementation of activities and repressive supervision, is carried out after an action is carried out by comparing what has happened with what should have happened Bohari (1992:25). This research method is qualitative by interviewing research informants and collecting documentary data through observation. Research Results Based on the results of field research by conducting interviews with research informants and field data based on the results of observations, it can be concluded that the implementation of supervision of the DPRD's supervisory function regarding the implementation of the regional income and expenditure budget in Rokan Hilir district in 2022, both preventive supervision with preventive and repressive supervision, has been carried out in a manner Very Good by the Rokan Hilir Regency DPRD as a form of carrying out functions and responsibilities for the tasks that have been given as a community mandate.
