Abstract

The study entitled "The effect of lamtoro leaf bokashi and NPK grower on the growth and production of cherry tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiforme)" was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Pekanbaru. Which was carried out from April to July 2024. This study aims to determine the effect of the interaction of lamtoro leaf bokashi and NPK Grower fertilizer on the growth and production of cherry tomato plants. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two factors and 3 replications. The first factor is lamtoro leaf bokashi consisting of 5 levels, namely 0; 250; 500; 750; and 1000 g/polybag and the second factor is NPK Grower consisting of 4 levels, namely 0; 7.5; 15; and 22.5 g/polybag. The parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit and number of remaining fruits. Observation data were analyzed by analysis of variance and continued with further BNJ test at the 5% level. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it was concluded that the interaction of giving lamtoro leaf bokashi and NPK Grower fertilizer had a significant effect on plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, and fruit weight per fruit, the best treatment was lamtoro leaf bokashi 1000 g/polybag and NPK Grower fertilizer 22.5 g/polybag.
